NC employees: Score discounted tickets for IceDogs March 15 game

Niagara College employees can take advantage of discounted tickets and a pre-game skate at a Niagara IceDogs hockey game on Sunday, March 15.

The game will be held at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines at 2 p.m. The pre-game skate will be held from noon until 1 p.m.

Staff Online Auction to support the Many Hands Project runs until March 4

A special Staff Online Auction, for Niagara College staff only, to support the Many Hands Project, began on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 9 a.m. and will run until Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 4 p.m. The auction features merchandise, valued at over $2,100, from trusted businesses that have generously donated to our College.

Tickets available for 26th annual Seafood Gala

Join us for the Niagara College Foundation's 26th Annual Seafood Gala Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Fallsview Casino Resort (Grand Hall).

The evening will be full of exciting entertainment, an amazing array of silent and live auction packages and, of course, a sumptuous seafood (and more) buffet. This popular event has consistently sold out for the past several years.

Tech student hooked on 3D possibilities

While a career in automotive might have looked good to Dave McKechnie a few years ago, he says his heart now belongs to additive manufacturing. The third-year Mechanical Engineering Technology student has seen this appreciation grow while working with the College’s Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre.

NC team earns spot in the finals at national competition

A group of Niagara College students who travelled to Montreal early this month for the 10th annual 2015 Vanier College BDC Case Challenge, earned a spot as competition finalists. The students joined 33 teams of marketing students from across Canada at the event held Feb 7-8.

College students going the distance to help others for Reading Week

They’re packing their bags and getting their passports ready for warmer climates, but for two separate groups of Niagara College students, having fun in the sun will not be their focus.

Each group of students will be departing on a mission to help others: one  bringing the college’s  horticultural and research expertise to the Dominican Republic to help boost the local greenhouse industry; another working on a community build project in Ecuador as part of a Me to We volunteer travel experience.
