Touch a Truck returns to NOTL Campus this fall

Rev up for excitement at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus this fall; the popular Touch a Truck event will be back in full force. The volunteer-run event is expected to draw thousands of families to the Campus grounds to experience dozens of mighty machines and raise money for children’s literacy in Niagara.

Online learning opens door to career change for local mom

Cathy Leyenhorst felt socially isolated at her former job and yearned for a new career.

That’s when the St. Catharines resident turned to the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management program, offered online through Niagara College and OntarioLearn. Her goal: to retrain so she could make a direct contribution to her community and work in an environment where social and professional interaction would provide a constant stimulus of new and creative ideas.
